There is no need to visit bank branch or ATM for balance checking. Account details come directly on WhatsApp chat within seconds.

To use DBGB (Dakshin Bihar Gramin Bank) WhatsApp Banking, follow these steps –

  3. First-time users may need OTP verification using registered mobile number
  4. After verification, banking service menu will appear automatically

  1. Download and install the BGB mBanking app from Play Store or App Store

  3. Verify using OTP sent to registered mobile number
  4. Enter debit card details like card number, expiry date, and CVV
  5. Create login password and MPIN for security
  6. Bank may take 1–2 working days for activation
  7. After activation, you will receive Customer ID and temporary password through SMS or email
  8. Login using Customer ID and password
  9. Now you can check account balance, mini statement, and even download statement PDF easily

When Did DBGB Merge and What Is Its New Name?

On 1 April 2025, the Ministry of Finance announced the consolidation of 26 Regional Rural Banks into 11 entities. As part of this merger, Dakshin Bihar Gramin Bank (DBGB) and Uttar Bihar Gramin Bank (UBGB) were combined to form Bihar Gramin Bank (BGB).
