In simple terms, HR Connect is an Online HRMS System offered by Indian Bank. It provides Direct online HR Services to Employees and Retirees. It is like having a personal assistant to help you get payslips, apply leaves, manage provident fund details, and more.
It offers simple Retirees Self-Service for any HR Work you ask.

For Employees: Employee Self-Service (ESS)

- Talk to HR or Branch: Firstly, you need to reach out to your HR Team to get your SR no. (User ID) and the HR department will give you instructions on how to log in.
- Register your mobile Number: You need to register your mobile number with CO HRM. Ask the HR department to do it for you.
- Secure your Platform: The HR Connect platform uses two-factor authentication, so you will need an OTP to log in and use the features.
- Log in and Explore: Visit https://hrconnect.indianbank.in and log in.

How to log in: First time

1 Step: Do A Search and Locate The HR Portal
Search the Indian Bank HR Portal on Google or any other search engine you like. Apart from this, you can also contact the HR team for the latest URL.
2 Step: Enter Login Details and Verify via OTP
Open the HR Connect Portal, type your User ID and tap on the submit button to process. After submitting, you will get an OTP on your email and Mobile Number. Simply enter the OTP and tap on the next button.
Tip: In the User ID section, you need to enter your Service Retirement number with a check digit. You can easily find it on old payslips, pension slips, joining documents, Company ID cards, and other official documents.
3 Step: Enter Password and Go to Dashboard
After OTP, you will go to the welcome screen, where you have to enter the Password to log in completely. Enter your default password or the password that you received on your registered email ID.

4 Step: Welcome to the HR Portal Dashboard
All Set! You successfully logged in to your account. Here, you need to change your old temporary password and set a new strong password for future access. Also, add security questions. Here, you will find lots of helpful HR stuff.
How to Reset Your Indian Bank HRMS Password
This may be only one of the biggest issues many Indian bank employee faces, forgetting their password. No worries. Here are the steps to reset it –
- Visit the HR Connect login portal.
- Please enter your USER ID (As I Already Said, SR number without check digit)
- Enter the received OTP to a mobile number or email ID.
- After entering your ID, tap on Forget password
- Again, provide your SR no. and tap on continue
- Answer the security questions for verification.
- You will get an SMS that your temporary password has been sent to your email and mobile number.
- Log back in, enter the temporary password
- All Set! Please set a new password to log in again.
How to get a Salary Slip through HR Connect

- Visit https://hrconnect.indianbank.in and log in with your credentials.

2 Step: Enter Your Details
Just like employees, retirees also need to provide their Service Retirement Number in the USER ID, complete their verification and enter the default password to go to the dashboard.
After accessing the dashboard, you have to create a new password for future login and security purposes.
Once logged in, you have to go to the menu and select the RSS section for access features.
4 Step: Select Pension Slip
Under the RSS section, you will get multiple features; simply scroll down and tap on Pension Slip.
5 Step: Choose Period
On the pension slip section, you need to select the month and year to generate the salary statement.
6 Step: Download It
Tap on the view button to save the slip in PDF format. Also, you can print it for physical use.
