HDFC Regalia Lounge Access 2026 – Domestic & International Guide

Airport lounge access is one of the main reasons many people choose mid-premium credit cards today. Banks promote this benefit heavily, but in real life, it can sometimes feel confusing. Spending rules change, eligibility is not always clear, and sometimes travellers reach the lounge desk only to hear “card not eligible.”

The HDFC Regalia credit card series, which sits in the mid-premium category of HDFC Bank cards, works a little differently here. Instead of relying only on swiping the card at the airport lounge, HDFC also provides online tools where users can check lounge access before travelling.

For example, Regalia cardholders can:

  • Check lounge eligibility online via SmartBuy
  • Generate lounge entry vouchers before reaching the airport
  • Apply for Priority Pass directly through the HDFC online form

Unlike other Banks, because of this system, you can usually confirm or fix your free lounge access in advance online, rather than finding out at the lounge counter. For people who travel inside India occasionally or take one international trip in a year, this type of lounge access setup becomes quite practical.

Types of HDFC Regalia Credit Cards (Active/closed)

Many users get confused when checking lounge rules for HDFC Regalia cards. The reason is simple — there are multiple Regalia versions, and some older cards are still used by customers even though new applications are closed.

Card NameStatusNotes
Regalia Gold Credit CardActiveMain Regalia card currently issued by HDFC
Regalia Credit Card (Classic)Legacy + new DiscontinuedStill used by many older customers
Regalia First Credit CardDiscontinuedfrom December 1, 2023, the lounge benefit has been discontinued
Regalia Activ Credit CardDiscontinuedEarlier issued mainly for HDFC home loan users

Because these legacy cards are still in circulation, lounge benefits you see online may sometimes refer to an older Regalia version instead of the new Regalia Gold card. That’s why lounge rules, visit limits, or spending conditions may look different in some places.

HDFC Regalia GOLD Lounge Benefit Overview

After the launch of Regalia Gold, lounge benefits became slightly better compared to older Regalia cards. HDFC increased the total number of visits and also introduced a more structured access system.

Regalia Card: Domestic Airport Lounge Access

In 2026, domestic airport lounge access for the HDFC Regalia Gold Credit Card works through a digital voucher system. Earlier many cards allowed simple card swiping at the lounge desk, but now HDFC usually requires a QR voucher generated from the SmartBuy portal.

How Domestic Airport Lounge Access Works

HDFC Regalia Credit Card lounge access rules and Priority Pass benefits

Step 1 – Spending Milestone

For many Regalia variants, lounge access may unlock after completing a Spend ₹1,00,000 in a calendar quarter milestone. After completing this milestone, 2 domestic lounge vouchers are usually unlocked for the next quarter.

Typical rule mentioned in program documents:

Spend PeriodEligible Lounge Period
Jan – MarApr – Jun
Apr – JunJul – Sep
Jul – SepOct – Dec
Oct – DecJan – Mar

Important note: the ₹1 lakh quarterly spending eligibility is not fully confirmed for all Regalia cards, including GOLD Variant. Some cardholders report slightly different eligibility rules depending on card variant and issuance period.

  • The safest way is to verify directly through the official eligibility portal = https://offers.reward360.in/v2/foryou
  • Enter your Regalia card details there to check whether the ₹1 lakh quarterly spend requirement applies to your specific card.

Step 2 – Generate the Lounge Voucher

Once eligibility is unlocked, you must generate the lounge voucher manually.

Steps usually look like this:

  1. Open the Regalia SmartBuy portal
  2. Log in using your registered mobile number
  3. Go to My Rewards → Airport Benefit
  4. Check the Milestone tab
  5. Tap on Generate Voucher

Step 3 – Use the QR Code at the Lounge

After generating the voucher:

  • A PDF voucher with a QR code is sent to your email or SMS
  • At the lounge desk, show the QR code + Card.
  • The staff scans it and provides entry

A small ₹2 authorisation transaction may appear on your credit card for verification. This amount is usually reversed later in the statement.

These lounges typically provide snacks or buffet food, tea/coffee, Wi-Fi, charging points and comfortable seating before boarding. But most lounges follow a 2–3 hour stay limit to avoid overcrowding.

Large airports like Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru usually offer better lounge facilities because the lounges there have larger seating capacity and food counters.

Note: The lounge network may change periodically as airport operators update their partnerships. To see the latest complete lounge list, you should check the official Regalia lounge program page.
