Odisha Gramya Bank offers both modern solutions like Internet banking and traditional methods such as updating your passbook.

Now, Let’s Talk About Checking Your Balance

As per the Odisha Gramya Bank Wikipedia page, The Bank offers its customers numerous rapid methods to avail of their account balance. Be it literate or not, there is something that will finally meet the requirements of everyone. However, I found there are very few online methods for now, maybe in future they introduce more. Therefore, let’s start with the quick method –

1. Odisha Gramya Bank Missed Call Banking Number

Hands down, right now, I have the simplest method, no apps, no signup, no login, just a phone and bank account registered mobile number SIM must be inserted it.

OGB Missed Call Balance Enquiry Number

As per the e-services page of Odisha Gramya Bank, The bank introduced the 8010106686 missed call alert number to check balance via SMS to their savings and current account holder customers.

Follow the steps to get balance –

  1. Make Sure Your mobile number is linked with your savings or current account at OGB Bank. (If not, please visit your home branch and ask the help desk to update your new phone number)
  2. From your registered mobile number, please dial the number and wait for a few seconds. It automatically cuts the call.
  3. Within moments, you will get an SMS with the last 4 digits of your account number and current account balance.

2. OGB Internet Banking

if you are comfortable, have a smartphone with the internet, want to balance enquiry with, a few additional services as well, this is an excellent way to access your bank account anytime.

It not only provides you with balance, but also allows you to send money to anyone using NEFT, IMPS, and RTGS Types of Fast payment options.

Let’s follow the steps to how to register, log in, and get the balance using the OGB net banking facility –

1 Step: Register With OGB Online Banking

  1. Go to the official website www.odishabank.in and tap on the Internet banking option.
  2. Go to the Login/register option, Tap on the Register Now button on the upper side.
  3. Enter Your customer ID (Please find your customer ID on your passbook or other bank documents) However, you can either enter your bank account number as well.
  4. Get OTP to your registered mobile number. Please enter OTP to verify.
  5. Now, Set Your USERNAME And Password to log in anytime.

2 Step: Log In to Internet Banking

  • Go to https://ebank.odishagramyabank.in/RetailBanking/ official page.
  • Enter your created Username, Password, and Captcha.
  • Tap on the login button to access your bank account dashboard.

3 Step: Check Your Balance

  • Congrats, you successfully created your Netbanking account online, and are ready to check your balance within a few clicks.
  • Once you log in, the welcome dashboard will appear, tap on my account.
  • All Set! Select your account number and tap on view balance.

Tip: You can get a mini statement, an account statement pdf, find the last transaction details, and transfer money as well using one OGB net banking account.

3. ATM or Micro ATM

OGB bank has more than 150 onsite ATMs and 5 mobile VAN ATMs on the NFS Network, you can use these atms to:

  • Withdraw cash
  • Balance Enquiry
  • Get a mini-statement
  • Change your PIN

However, Odisha Bank only offers RuPay Cards, which might work in all ATMs. To find the Nearest RuPay-supported ATM Machine, you can use the RuPay ATM Locator by NPCI.

  1. Use the locator to visit the ATM.
  2. Insert your card, select language, Enter ATM PIN, and select balance enquiry.
  3. Choose account type (Example – Savings or Current account)
  4. Your account balance will pop up on the screen. You can request to print it as well.

Tip: Micro ATMs are smaller in size, portable devices used in rural areas, it is also a good way to get OGB balance. I will remind you to please never share ATM PINs, ATM Cards, or OTPs with anybody. If having issues while checking your balance or withdrawing money, please consult only bank staff.

4. Aadhaar Enabled Payment System (AEPS)

If you prefer aadhaar-based banking, AEPS is a game changer. It allows Cash Deposits, Cash withdrawals, Balance Enquiry, and Mini Statement. The Business Correspondent is mostly located in all unbanked Sub Service Areas. To find it use the OGB Bank BC Locator available at the official website of Odhisa Gramin Bank.

Follow the steps –

  1. Use the BC Locator to find a nearby Business Correspondent (BC) agent or Micro ATM.
  2. Go there and Provide your Aadhaar number linked to your bank account.
  3. Select the Enquiry option and authenticate with your fingerprint.
  4. All Set! View your current balance on display.

5. OGB Customer Care

Before moving to the Next method, OGB offers multiple phone and email options to contact them quickly. As per the contact page of OGB bank, here are a few working helpline numbers and emails –

Note: Please always check the contact page of the Bank website before making the call. If OGB Bank update the Customer care number you can find it easily. Furthermore, Never share OTPs, ATM PINs, and other sensitive information related to your bank account with the representative.

6. Visit the Branch and Update Your Passbook

Returning to traditional methods, visiting the home branch still is a great method. This method is secure, and a little slow, but it’s a reliable option if other methods don’t work.

  1. Simply, Take Your Passbook to your home branch of OGB Bank.
  2. Ask the Bank Staff to update it and get the latest balance and transactions.

This method is good if you like having physical records of your bank account activity.
