How to Register for BOB E-Statements via Email?
In case you didn’t receive e-statements in your email monthly, follow these simple steps to activate them –
- Firstly, you need to download the BOB World app and log in using your 4-digit MPIN or fingerprint sensor. (for first time users, register using your mobile number, and account number)
- Tap on the “More” button at the bottom of the app homepage.
- Select Service Requests > Update Email ID.
- Enter your email ID, and you will receive a passcode via email.
- Enter the passcode in the app to verify and complete the process.
Alternatively, if you want to download the e-statement on your smartphone instantly, follow these quick steps to get your account full statement via BOB WhatsApp Banking –
- Open WhatsApp and send “Hi” to 8433 888 777 to initiate a conversation with the Bank of Baroda WhatsApp Banking.
- Accept the terms and enter the OTP sent to your registered mobile number.
- Go to Savings Account and select Request Statement.
- Choose the desired duration (monthly, 3 months, annual, or custom date).
- Download your statement instantly.
How to Open Your BOB Bank Statement PDF
Once you have received your e-statement via email, now, the next part. The e-statement came with a protected PDF file; you need the correct format to unlock it, so follow these steps –
- Open Inbox: Go to your inbox and open the email received by the Bank of Baroda.
- Find PDF: Scroll down to the end of it to find your attached PDF file.
- Download the File: Tap on download and open the PDF using a PDF reader like Adobe Acrobat Reader, Google PDF Viewer, or WPS Office.
- Enter the Password: To unlock your Bank of Baroda account statement PDF, The bank uses the password as the first four letters of your name in all lowercase (in small letters), followed by your birth date and month in DDMM format.
- Let me give you a quick example: If your name is Akhil Tiwari and your birthdate is 15th February 1990, your password will be akhi1502.

- To find your BOB Customer ID, Open your smartphone, navigate to the SMS app, enter and send CUST to 8422009988 from your registered mobile number.
2. Internet Banking:
- Go to the Bank of Baroda internet banking portal.
- Tap on “Don’t know User ID?”
- Enter your mobile number, account number, and email ID.
- Enter the OTP sent to your mobile, and your Customer ID will be displayed.
3. Check Physical Documents:
Your 9-digit Customer ID is printed on the first page of your bank passbook or previous account statements.
Troubleshooting Tips for Statement Issues
If you’re facing issues opening your BOB e-statement, follow these troubleshooting tips:
- Double-Check Your Password:
- Ensure your password is correct and follows the required format.
- Use lowercase letters without spaces or special characters.
- Update Your PDF Reader App:
