IDBI Bank offers two different statement options for its account holders: physical and digital statements.
1. Physical Statement – Traditional but Chargeable
For years, physical statements were the default. They are printed documents that get delivered to your postal address.
If you want physical copies of the IDBI statement, you can request them from your nearest or home branch, which has charges up to Rs 100 plus taxes.
- Delivery: Usually instantly via branch, but if you marked for it via courier takes 3–7 business days, depending on your location.
This statement came with an official stamp by the bank, which can accept all important portals and offices.
2. Digital Statement – Fast, Free, and Paperless
The digital statement is part of customer comfort and online banking; it is fast, free of cost, and no paper is required.
Also, it contains all your sensitive banking information like email, name, house address, mobile number, and more.
However, it is a digital format, so it can be stolen or accessed by an unknown person. That’s why it is delivered as a password-protected statement PDF and is sent only to your registered email ID.
This is a pre-activated facility, but only if you provide your email address when opening a savings account in IDBI via Agent, branch, or online.
It is now the official bill statement of IDBI Credit Cards also.
