instead of relying on physical copies, Kotak choose to provide their customers to receive their monthly statements via email in a secure PDF format. it is a digital version of your account statement to track your all debit and credit transactions within clicks.

However, If you prefer traditional statements, the bank also provides physical statements, but they come with additional charges:

1. E-Statements (via email): NIL Charges (Completely Free)
2. Pre-KYC 811 Lite & 811 Limited Accounts (E-Statement): Free
3. Physical Statements: ₹100 per request + Service Tax
4. Pre-KYC 811 Lite & 811 Limited (Physical Statement): ₹100 per request

How to Register for Kotak Bank Monthly e-statement

In case, you do not receive your e-statement in your email. follow these steps to activate it –

1. Login to Kotak Net Banking using your CRN number and password.
2. Navigate to the ‘Service Request’ section.
3. Click on ‘Statement & Passbook’.
4. Select ‘E-Statement Registration’.
5. Enter your registered email ID and confirm.
6. and also, navigate to Update Email in the Profile section to verify.
7. Submit the request, and you will start receiving monthly e-statements.

Deregistration of Printed Statements

If you want to stop receiving physical statements, follow these simple steps here:

1. Login to Kotak Net Banking using CRN and Mobile OTP.
2. Go to ‘Service Request’ → ‘Statement & Passbook’.
3. Select ‘Deregister from Physical Statement’.
4. Confirm your request.

How to Download Kotak Statement Through Net Banking

if you want your e-statement immediately on your smartphone, follow these steps:

1. Visit Kotak Mahindra Bank’s Official Website.
2. Click on the ‘Login’ button and select ‘User Net Banking’.
3. Enter your CRN number, then set up your quick username, password, and mobile OTP to log in.
4. Once logged in, go to ‘Statements’ from the menu.
5. Select ‘Account Statements’.
6. Under ‘Recent Transactions’, choose the date range:
   • Last 90 Days
   • Custom Date
7. Click on ‘Download’ and choose between Post (Physical Statement) or PDF.

Steps to Open Your Kotak E-statement PDF

Once you download or receive your e-statement, now, you need the correct password format to unlock it. follow these steps –

1. Email Inbox

• Open your email app.
• Locate the most recent e-statement from Kotak Mahindra Bank.

2. Find the PDF File

• Scroll down to the bottom of the email.
• Click on the attached PDF file.

3. Download It

• Save the PDF file to a location you can easily access (e.g., Downloads folder).

4. Open the PDF

• Go to your Downloads folder.
• Click on the downloaded statement.

5. Enter the Password

To unlock your Kotak bank account statement, The bank uses your Customer Relationship Number (CRN) as a password to access it. This is typically an 8 to 9-digit number.

1. Get Kotak CRN via SMS

You can send an SMS text “CRN” from your registered mobile number to 9971056767 or 5676788 to receive your CRN via SMS from the Bank instantly.

2. Check Bank Documents

Your CRN is printed on:

1. Chequebook (cover page)
2. Debit/Credit Card (on the back near the magnetic stripe)
3. Welcome Kit
4. Passbook (first page)
5. Monthly Statements (email or physical copy)

3. Retrieve CRN via Kotak Net Banking

• Visit the Net Banking login page.
• Tap on ‘Forgot CRN’.
• Select ‘I Want My CRN Number’.
• Follow the instructions to receive your CRN via email or SMS.

4. Use Kotak WhatsApp Banking

• Save the Kotak WhatsApp banking number +91 22 6600 6022 to your contacts.
• say “Hi” on WhatsApp and Verify yourself via OTP.
• Select “Bank Account” → “Know My CRN”.
• Verify with an OTP and get your CRN.
