As per CNBC TV18’s last report, Kotak relaunched the 811 app as part of a brand repositioning campaign in starting of 2025. This time app came with new features. Let’s check where to order your physical passbook directly from the New Kotak 811 mobile app.

1. Download & Login to Kotak 811 App
   • First of all, simply upgrade your app, go to the Play Store or iOS store and download the latest app.
   • Log in using your CRN (Customer Relationship Number) and your old MPIN; your debit card is not required to register.
2. Go to Bank Section
   • On the home screen, tap the Bank section available at the header where you normally check your balance.
3. Scroll to Activity Zone
   • Scroll down till you find “Activity Zone”.
   • Tap on Order a Passbook (Physical).
4. Check Delivery Details
   • The app will tell you the estimated delivery timing as per your location.
   • Passbook will only be delivered to your registered address.
5. Confirm or Update Address
   • If your address is correct, then simply tap Confirm Address.
   • If you no longer live there, tap Update Address and complete Aadhaar KYC or submit other valid documents to change it.
6. Pay Delivery Fee
   • Your passbook itself is free, but there’s a delivery fee of ₹25 + GST (Rs. 29.50 total).
   • Your total charges will be deducted from your Kotak account after successful delivery to your address.
7. Receive Passbook at Home
   • In most cases, it is delivered within 3 days only.

How Long Does Delivery Take and What to Expect

Kotak usually delivers your passbook within 3-5 working days; however, it mostly depends upon your living location and is sometimes known to take up to 10 working days.

The passbook is only shipped to the communication address given by you, and the courier person may ask you for ID verification, such as your PAN or Aadhaar, while delivering.

However, you will get real-time delivery SMS on your linked mobile number, so you can track it using Track ID.

What are the alternatives for ordering a Passbook?

Apart from the app, the branch option remains valid for you. If the app doesn’t work or you need a duplicate, you can go to your home branch.

• You can download the Common Request Form from the Kotak Bank site, which works for ordering a passbook. Also, you can get from the counter.
• As per your requirement, select “Register & Issue Passbook” or “Duplicate Passbook Issuance.”
