PNB UNIV is a new dedicated learning platform launched by the Punjab National Bank Centre for Learning and Innovation (CLI). It is a staff-only portal for education and training. If you are an employee at PNB, you can access it and learn concepts of banking, access the online Course Library, technology, check out quizzes and download Certificates after completing training from anywhere.

It is accessible via smartphones and desktops, so employees no longer need to wait for physical sessions; it is a fully digital program.

Why Punjab Bank UNIV Was Introduced and Who Really Uses It

A new regulation, a digital banking tool, or a compliance requirement can roll out any time, so it useful tool so it is a useful tool for all employees, newbies to experienced.

PNB UNIV was launched to ensure every employee remains updated without missing work hours. The primary users are:

• Frontline staff handling customer queries and branch operations.
• Managers and officers are responsible for compliance and team development.
• Recruits during installation and probation for mandatory training.

These users benefit from structured courses, certification, and continuous assessment, which also link to performance appraisals.

Here’s why it’s important:

• Learning Centre: You can browse all available courses and enrol easily. Also, you can check and reserve seats for the next training.
• Course Dashboard: Track learning progress and deadlines.
• Assessments: When every course ends, you will have to do a quiz or a full online test to check your understanding and score you.
• Notifications: Automatic alerts when new courses are assigned.
• Resume Option: If the session gets interrupted, you can pick up from where you left off.
• Reports and Certificates: You have direct access to Download reports after completing the modules and get a PDF of your certificates for compliance proof.

Where and how to Access PNB UNIV

You can access it in two official and online ways:

• Web Portal: Works well on desktop and laptop browsers. You can access here – https://pnbuniv.in/Home.aspx.
• Mobile App: Available on the Google Play Store as PNB Univ LMS, around 85 MB in size. Recently, PNB also launched for iOS users. Here you can find it – Apple App Store.

Note: The app is useful for quick learning on the go, but if you face app crashes, just like many users complain, the web version is more reliable.

How to Download the UNIV App

1. Simply, open your Google Pay Store on your smartphone.
2. On the search button, type UNIV by Punjab National Bank.
3. Check the Real developer first, then tap on the install button.
4. Now, launch the app.

Alternative for you: If Google Play fails to install or is not working, you can use the Indus Appstore, where the app is also officially listed and available in APK format.

Steps for First-Time Registration For UNIV –

To access the courses and log in for the first time, you have to set a password. Follow these simple steps –

1. First, open the PNB UNIV web portal or mobile app.
2. In the Header menu, tap on the login button.
3. Here, tap on Reset password.
4. On the recovery section, enter your employee ID.
5. Your linked mobile number. (If no mobile number is registered, please update your number via the PNB Parivar App.)
6. Fill up the captcha value and tap on Generate OTP.
7. Now, set a new password and activate your account.

Remember: The process for registration and login is completely the same in both the mobile app and web app.

What are the steps to log in to the PNB UNIV app?

Once registration is complete and you have your newly generated password:

1. Launch your app and go to the login page on the app.
2. Enter your Employee ID in the username field.
3. Type your password correctly and fill out the captcha code.
4. Click Login to access your dashboard.

Where to Find Your Employee ID

Your Employee ID is required for login and registration. It is printed on:

• First of all, check your Appointment or Joining Letter that was issued upon your joining.
• Salary Slip from the monthly payroll.
• Your ID Card: check below your name.
• PNB Parivar HRMS Portal under your profile details.

Steps to Navigate the App Dashboard

After login, the app dashboard becomes your primary workspace for joining and continuing an ongoing program. It categorises your courses into three sections:

• Not Started
• Ongoing courses
• Completed
• Download your certificate.

The dashboard also displays mandatory courses assigned to you and optional courses you may choose to enhance your skills and learn new banking stuff.

When Are Assessments Important and How Do They Affect You

Assessments aren’t just formalities, and they are mandatory for certain courses and directly affect your appraisal scores. It is good to complete courses for all employees of PNB. Completing mandatory modules and scoring well ensures employees earn maximum points in the learning section of their annual review.

For most courses, passing marks are 50%, and users can retake assessments if needed.

What Happens During Course Completion

• Each course comprises multiple slides, sometimes with audio explanations.
• To mark a course as you have completed a full course, you must view 100% of the content (text or videos).
• After finishing the course, you will be prompted to take an assessment.
• Click Finalise only when the system confirms successful completion; this ensures data is saved.

How to Attempt Quizzes Correctly

• Access the quiz through the Test/Quiz Login option on the web portal.
• Read instructions before starting.
• Use Mark for Review if unsure about an answer. It is better for remarking.
• Submit within the provided time limit.
• If disconnected, log back in and resume from the last saved point.

What if OTP Doesn’t Arrive on Your Mobile?

Sometimes OTPs are delayed due to the server. Don’t worry if your OTP doesn’t arrive—here’s what you can try.

• Check if your mobile number is correctly registered with the bank.
• If your app is crashing, please reinstall the app or use the direct web portal.
• Make sure you have good network coverage.
• Avoid using “Do Not Disturb” settings that block transactional SMS.
