Methods to Open Kotak Credit Card Statement PDF

To access your statement, you will need a PDF reader. As per the Bank emails, Kotak Mahindra Bank suggests using the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader. However, you can use Foxit Reader, the Default Google PDF Viewer, and more.

1. Method – Your Name and DOB

To unlock the Credit card e-statement PDF, Kotak Bank use the new password format as the first 4 letters of your name on the credit card (in lowercase) + Your Date and Month of birth in DDMM format.

Let me share a simple example:

• Name on card: RAJEEV BHARGAV
• Date of birth: 01-Dec-1978
• Password: raje0112

Please note:

• Always use only the first 4 letters of the name as printed on the card. Check your card first while entering.
• All characters must be in lowercase.
• Also, ignore spaces, dots, symbols, or special characters, but they count in the character limit.

2. Method – Your CRN + DOB

Alternatively, you can use your full CRN number + your Date of birth in DDMM format to unlock it.

• Here is an example:
  • CRN: 12345678, DOB: 08 July 2000.
  • Then, your Password will be 123456780807

How to Find Your Kotak CRN Number

If you’re using Format 2, you’ll need your CRN number. Here’s how to find it:

Simply send an SMS type “CRN” to 9971056767 or 5676788 from your registered number. Also, check your passbook’s first page, older credit card statements, and welcome kit.

If you have an 811 account, you can read the process to apply for a passbook.

5. Go to Profile → Update Email ID.
6. Enter the new email → Validate with OTP → Confirm.
