You should request an update:

• When moving to a new home within the same distributor’s service area. Do it a week before moving.
• When shifting to a different area but still under Indane’s network (transfer to another distributor using Indane One App, select LPG settings, tap on change distributor).
• When updating address proof for subsidy or bank account matching.

How to Change Your Indane Gas Address Online

The online process works the same, whatever portal you are using the IndianOil One App or the Indane LPG Website.

1 Step – Open the IndianOil App or Portal

• Simply open your IndianOil One Portal
• Log in using your registered mobile number and your password.
• If you’re using first time, tap on sign up, enter your mobile number, Email ID, Name, and OTP to set a password.

2 Step – Access the LPG Dashboard

• On the App home, tap on the menu and select LPG Domestic.
• Scroll down to the end of the LPG Dashboard.
• Tap on Distributor, same but address changed option.

3 Step – Fill in New Address Details

• New address, house number, floor number
• Landmark
• City/Town/Village
• Pincode
• Address type (Rural or Urban)

4 Step – Upload Proof of Address

• Accepted formats: PNG, JPG, GIF, BMP, PDF.

1. First of all, access the IndianOil One App using a mobile number and a password.
2. Go to Cylinder Information.
3. Select Track Your Services request.
4. Under Document, you will see:
   • Pending – waiting for distributor verification
   • Rejected – document mismatch or missing detail
   • Successfully Updated – new address is active

Must wait upto 1 week, if still pending or rejected, follow these options –

If it shows your document as mismatched or still shows pending –

1. Visit your Indane Gas distributor office.
2. Carry:
   • Passbook copy (for verification)
   • Address proof from the list above
   • Rent agreement (if rented)
3. Fill in the Address Change Form or just submit your passbook and documents to the help desk.
4. Submit the documents and relax.

Fun fact – Offline changes can be done in as little as 24 hours if everything is in order.

My Real Experience with Address Change

When I moved to a new rented apartment, in the first few days, I had to go to the gas agency to collect the cylinder instead of home delivery. My Indane Gas cylinder delivery address was still my old one.

So, I went to my local Indane Gas agency and explained the situation to the distributor.

2. Rural Areas: On the village side, things work a bit differently. Even if you submit an online request, most rural distributors will ask you to visit the agency for a physical document submission, and the process can take upto 1 or 2 weeks.
