The Merger of Rajasthan Gramin Bank
As per the 1 State 1 RRB Policy on May 1, 2025, the Rajasthan Marudhara Gramin Bank and Baroda Rajasthan Kshetriya Gramin Bank merged and got a new name, Rajasthan Gramin Bank and it is sponsored State Bank of India.
The bank was created on 1 April 2014 after the merger of two older Gramin banks in Rajasthan, Marudhara Gramin Bank and Mewar Aanchalik Gramin Bank.
If you had a deposit account with either of the merged banks, you can still check your balance using any of RMGB’s new services.
After the merger, the bank expanded to 718 branches in 26 districts and added digital banking services. To check your balance, let’s explore one of the latest methods available for you.
What is the Latest RMGB Missed Call Banking Number
Rajasthan Gramin Bank offers a missed-call banking facility at the number 8750187504.
If you do not have internet or a smartphone, you can still receive your Balance via SMS. All you need is your bank-registered mobile number and an active recharge pack, then, follow these steps:
- First, open your phone’s dialer
- Enter the missed call banking number
- Choose your registered SIM number and dial it.
- Within 30 seconds, you will receive an SMS with the last 4 digits of your account number with the latest balance.
Most of the RMGB account holders, including my client, have complained to me that they received an SMS where the bank said their missed call banking facility is not registered.
If your mobile number is not registered, simply visit your home branch, ask for the missed call banking facility application form, fill it in with information like account number, mobile number, and customer ID, submit it to the bank staff, and the facility will be activated within 24 hours.
Note: if you still do not receive a balance SMS, try again after 2/3 hours; sometimes, bank servers can be the reason.
What if it does not provide Balance SMS?
